Matar Paneer Tikki (Green Peas and Cottage Cheese Patties)
Combo of peas with Paneer (matar-paneer) is one of our favorite dish in meals. This time I used the same combo for snacks to relish with tea or coffee in winters in nutritious manner.

Ingredients :
- 2 Medium Size boiled potatoes
- 1 Cup Boiled or blanched green peas
- 100 gm Cottage cheese (paneer)
- 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs
- 1 Teaspoon grated ginger
- Few mint leaves
- 2 Tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2 Chopped green chiles
- 1 Teaspoon garam masala
- 2 Teaspoon chat masala
- 1 Teaspoon chilly flakes
- Salt according to taste
- 1 Tablespoon oil for cooking
Procedure :
- Boil potatoes, peel and grate them and keep aside
- Boil or blanch green peas and keep aside, make sure extra water is removed
- In a bowl add grated potato and green peas, mash and mix them well
- Now add grated paneer to this along with green chilly, mint leaves, coriander, garam masala, chat masala, salt, chilly flakes and bread crumbs
- Mix all together as shown in picture
- Now take a small portion of mixture on your palm and form a round patties as shown below
- In a pan take few drops of cooking oil and cook these patties from both sides as shown in picture
- Serve it with tea or coffee
Tip : You can have these tikkies with bun or bread also ... it tastes yum ..
