Grilled Pineapple

Grilled Pineapple

My today's recipe is extremely simple. It hardly takes just 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. It is so easy and so exotic that you will be left wondering.

We are in a fast food generation. No one is having any time. Instant gratification is needed. So one day I had some unexpected guests and being winter season they expressed desire to have something light, hot and sweet.

I asked for 5-10 minutes and checked what is all available. Fruits, sweets and ice-cream were there but expectations were for  hot and sweet. I had a can of pineapple also available at that time but again it was not a hot material to delight guests. So I was thinking of what will make pineapple wear different taste. I realized cinnamon goes very well with pineapple;honey will make it bit sweet and lemon will make it tangy. I just placed the slice on the grill marinated with honey, cinnamon powder and little bit of olive oil. I mixed all these ingredients and and then dipped pineapple slice in this mixture and then grilled it.

This gave it a smoky flavour. It got grill lines, hot, sweet and tangy giving my guests out of the world experience
