Sandwich Roll

Being a mother of growing age daughter, the most challenging work in my life is to make her eat healthy and that too without any fuss...... So whenever I tell her today for breakfast I am serving cucumber and tomato sandwich she will say no I don't want, my stomach is already full. So one day I just gave my boring sandwich a twist I rolled it and filled it with lots of vegetables, seasoned it with green chutney and she was like mummy you are too good I love your food it looks so yummy.... little bit of make over makes a big difference ....

Ingredients :

  • 8 Slices Sandwich bread fresh 
  • 2 Tablespoon butter (On room temperature)
  • 1/2 Cup green chutney 
  • 2 Carrots sliced and then cut in long julienne
  • 1 Cucumber sliced and then cut into long julienne
  • 10 Cherry tomatoes cut in halves 
  • 4 Cheese slice cut into long strips
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped jalapeno
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black pepper according to taste
  • 6 to 8 Salad leaves 
Procedure :
  • Take bread slices and remove the sides of each bread. In each sandwich we will use 1 bread slices.

  • Now take a rolling pin and with the help of it make the bread flat

  • Now apply butter on bread then apply green chutney to it

  • Place cucumber juliennes and carrot juliennes on the corner of the bread as shown in picture

  • Now place Cherry tomatoes and cheese slice on it sprinkle some salt and pepper on it

  • Now hold the bread from corner and roll it gently but firmly as shown in the picture

  • Repeat the same steps with remaining breads
  • Before serving you can garnish it with salad leaves and cut it into desired length


Tip : You can change the filling of sandwich according to your taste.
