Ingredients :
- 6 Brown bread slice (you can use white bread also)
- 1/2 Cup rava (sooji)
- 2 Tablespoon curd
- Few curry leaves
- Few mustard seeds
- Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
- 1 - 2 Green chiles chopped
- 1 Tea spoon urad dal (split black without skin lentil)
- 1 Teaspoon channa dal (bengal gram)
- 2 Tablespoon finely chopped onion
- Salt according to taste
- Red chilly powder according to taste
- Oil for cooking + 1/2 tablespoon for tadka
Procedure :
- In a bowl take rava, curd , chopped onion, salt and red chilly powder
- Now In a tadka pan take 1/2 tablespoon of oil, as oil gets heated add mustard seeds, hing, urad dal, channa dal, green chillies and curry leaves. pour this tadka on rava and curd mixture
- Now mix all ingredients nicely and if it is thick add 2 tablespoon of water and form a mixture of smooth consistency
- Take a pan, brush some oil on it. Now take a bread apply rava mixture on one side and put it on pan for cooking with the rava mixture side at bottom
- Cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame now turn and cook from other side also
- Repeat the same step with other bread slices
- Rava toast is ready ....
