Minty Sweet Lime

Minty Sweet Lime



Easy, healthy and refreshing drink. A wonderful combination of sweet lime, mint, ginger and soda.....

Preparation Time : 10 Min

Cooking Time : 0

Ingredients :

  • 2 Cup sweet lime juice
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • 1 inch grated ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon black salt
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 300 ml Soda water 
  • Few ice cubes
  • 5 to 6 Slices of sweet lime

Procedure :
  • Take a fresh sweet lime juice in a jar
  • Now in a bowl muddle mint leaves, ginger, sugar, lemon juice and salt together nicely and add sweet lime juice to this. Stain this with stainer

  • Now take a glass add sweet lime pieces and a mint string with ice cubes. Now slowly add the Sweet lime mixture to glass. top up this with chilled soda water...

  • Refreshing Minty Sweet Lime is ready.....

INGREDIENTS :
  • 1/2 cup chocolate powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Almonds
  • Cashew nuts
  • Fig
  • Sugar chocolate essence
  • Raspberry Extract
  • Kellogg cornflakes (fruit) nutella
  • Marie Biscuit
METHOD :
  • In a mixer grinder , put nuts , Marie biscuits , chocolate essence &  cornflakes and grind it (it should not be in a powder form , small pieces will be visible).
  • In a pan put chocolate powder , milk , nutella and raspberry extract once it gets melted put the dry mixture in it 
  • mix well
  • refrigerate for 30 min.

Sabudana chila is a perfect fasting food. It is consist of sago, potato, crunchy peanuts, spicy green chilly and coriander leaves.... even if you are not fasting you can enjoy this in a breakfast....

Preparation Time : 20 Min

Cooking Time : 20 Min

Ingredients :

  • Sago 11/2 cups (soak in enough water for 3 to 4 hours)
  • Boiled potatoes 1 medium size
  • Roasted and crushed peanuts 1 cup
  • 1 Teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Singhada ka atta 1 cup ( water-chestnut flour)
  • Sendha salt or normal salt according to taste
  • Oil for cooking
Procedure :
  • First of all soak the sago in enough water for 3 to 4 hours and drain out the excess water.
  • In a mixer just add soaked sago, green chillies, coriander with half cup of water 

  • Now boil , peel and grate  the potato
  • In a blow mix grated potato, roasted and crushed peanuts, cumin seeds, salt, singhade ka atta.and sabudana mixture mix all ingredients nicely and form a smooth paste

  • Now take a non sticky pan or nicely seasoned pan apply little oil to it now pour a batter on this and form a chila shape
  • Now cover this with lid so that it is cooked with steam . now apply oil and turn this

  • Apply little oil to both the side  cook nicely till it is brown from both the side.

  • Sabudana chila is ready serve it with side dish, curd, chutney or with a cup of tea ......

Chocolate Nutty Energy Bar

Chocolaty Nutty Energy Bar


Chocolate bar full of raisins, almonds, and muesli..... Perfect for any time hunger.... Good for health....

Preparation Time : 5 min

Cooking Time : 1 min

Refrigeration Time : 30 Min

Ingredients :

  • 250 GM Dark chocolate
  • 1 Cup muesli (Kellogg's fruit and nut)
  • 2 Tablespoon raisins
  • 2 Tablespoon roasted and sliced almonds
  • 1 Tablespoon milk

Procedure :
  • In a bowl take dark chocolate add milk and microwave it for a minute.

  • With a spatula mix it well now add muesli, almonds, raisin and  mix all ingredients gently

  • Now take a small deep tray season it with butter or oil and pour the mixture into this smoother it on the top. Put it into refrigerator for setting

  • Remove and slice it into bars. Arrange it on a serving dish and enjoy with milk, tea or coffee....

Some Time we have leftover chapattis but no one is willing to eat it as it is not fresh. Simultaneously we don't like wastage of food so lets give a leftover chapati a new look and prepare a crispy snacks out of it......

Preparation Time : 10 Min

Cooking Time : 7 to 8 Min

Ingredients :

For Crispy Chapati :
  • Left over chapati
  • Oil for Frying
 For Peanut Salsa :


  • 1/2 Cup roasted peanuts
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 2 Green chilly chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 Teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon grated lemon zest 
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • Salt according to taste
Procedure : 

For Salsa :
  • In a bowl take chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilly, roasted peanuts, mint leaves, coriander, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, honey and salt mix well all the ingredients nicely


For Crispy Chapati :
  • Cut chapati in four pieces. fry all pieces in a oil till it is crispy

For Platting :
  • Assemble all crispy chapati pieces on a platter sprinkle salt and black pepper powder on it now place a peanut salsa mixture on this.

  • Crispy chapati with peanut salsa is ready enjoy.....

Vegetable Macaroni

Bowl full of veggie Macaroni is a one pot meal which is full of taste and goodness of vegetables.... Can be enjoyed  any time.... Perfect for kids tiffin or evening snacks

Serves  : 4

Preparation Time : 15 min

Cooking Time : 15 min

Ingredients :

  • 2 Cup boiled Macaroni 
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon sliced garlic
  • 1 Cup sliced onions
  • 1 Cup chopped red, yellow and green capsicum
  • 1/2 Cup sliced carrot
  • 1 Cup blanched sweet corn
  • 1 Cup sliced cabbage
  • 1 Teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1Tablespoon schezwan sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon tomato sauce
  • Salt according to taste
  • Chilly flakes according to taste

Procedure :
  • First of all boil Macaroni with salt and a teaspoon of olive oil. Once this is done just wash it under cold water to avoid over cooking of Macaroni 

  • Now on a pan add olive oil heat it add sliced garlic and saute it for a minute now add sliced onion to this and saute it

  • Now add chopped red, yellow, green capsicum and carrot toast it together nicely

  • Now add sweet corn, cabbage, chilly flakes, salt and toast it altogether 

  • Now add boiled Macaroni , soya sauce, tomato sauce and schezwan sauce mix it well  and cook it for 4 to 5 min

  • Your bowl full of veggie Macaroni is ready..... Enjoy it ....

Tip : You can use any other vegetable of your taste also and if spring onion is available you can use that also. if you like cheese add some grated mozzarella cheese in the end and close the lid for 1 to 2 min so that the cheese is melted...

Raisin and Black Current Cake with Chocolate Sauce (Egg less)



We love celebrating birthdays of our near and dear ones. We also want to prove that our love is unconditional and we can do many tough tasks comfortably. There are ready to buy enough cakes available in the market. But to convey message of love, doesn’t making cake on your own will be more thrilling and satisfying. Further you don’t need to put eggs (veggies’ delight) in your cake. So I invite you to make your own cake from the comfort of your home and let the whole world know your hidden talent.

Preparation  Time : 15 min

Baking Time : 30 - 35 min

Ingredients :
  • 250 GM Egg less Bake mix ( one packet bake mix easily available in market)
  • 80 GM Butter
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 2 Tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon raisin
  • 2 Tablespoon Black current
For Garnishing :
  • 100gm Dark chocolate
  • 1 Tablespoon milk
  • 2 Tablespoon powdered Sugar
  • 8 to 10 cherries
Procedure :
  • Preheat the oven to 180 C
  • In a bowl mix melted butter, bake mix, water, milk and sugar till a smooth batter is formed
  • Now add raisin and black current to the batter and mix it gently 

  • Now take a baking pan grease it with butter and dust with a flour and pour the cake batter in it

  • Bake at 180 C for 30 min or till it is cooked from all side . You can use a toothpick to check f the cake is done or not

  • For icing take a dark chocolate in a bowl add 2 tablespoon  of milk microwave this for 30 seconds mix it well your chocolate sauce is ready.

  • Now in a plate place your cake and pour chocolate sauce unevenly over it. Allow it to set for an hour in refrigerator 

  • Now in a strainer take powdered sugar dust it over your cake garnish it with cherries...... Your  Egg less Raisin and Black current Cake with chocolate Sauce is ready...... Enjoy it with your loved once.....

Corn Seekh kebab (Corn Kebab)

Corn Seekh Kebab



Kebab are all time favorite snacks. but usually when we talk about kebabs first think comes in our mind is non-veg preparation. so lets make this lovely vegetarian seekh kebabs made from boiled corns and potatoes.

Serves : 4

Preparation time : 10 Min

Cooking Time : 10 Min

Ingredients :

For Kebab Mixture :

  • 2 Cup boiled corn kernels
  • 2 Boiled potatoes
  • 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2" Ginger
  • 2 Green chilly
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped coriander
  • 1 Teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1 Teaspoon chat masala powder
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • Red chilly powder
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon oil 

For Coating :
  • 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs
For Cooking :
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil
Procedure :
  • First of all boil the corn form a coarsely grind paste of corn
  • Now in a pan add oil heat it now add chopped ginger and green chillies saute it add chopped onion to this saute this for a 2 to 3 minute now add boiled and grind ed corn to this saute this for 2 to 3 minute now add boiled and mashed potatoes, salt, red chilly powder, roasted cumin powder, chart masala and chopped coriander mix all ingredients nicely once the mixture is done close the gas and transfer the mixture in a bowl



  • Now add lemon juice, bread crumbs and cornflour and mix well together form a dough of this. allow this mixture to cool

  • Now take a bamboo seekh or (skewer) press the portion of kebab mixture on it with your fingers and form 3 to 4 inch long kebab. repeat this with rest of the mixture

  • Take a flat dish spread bread crumbs on this and roll your seekh kebab on it
  • Now heat a griller pan add olive oil and place your seekh kebabs on it shallow fry it from both the sides once the kebabs are cooked from both the sides transfer it to dish and serve it with mint chutney....

  • You can even cook your kebabs on charcoal or barbeque till they are evenly cooked from all sides.....
