Crispy Veggie Rolls

Crispy Veggie Rolls

Usually whenever we make any veg cutlet, tikki or kebab potato is the main ingredient. But my daughter is not fond of potatoes so whenever I make any snacks her first question is, "mom is this is made of potatoes. I love to cook for my daughter so to surprise her I prepared these crispy veggie rolls without potatoes.... So this time when she asked "Mom is this is made of potatoes?" I said "No sweetie this is for you without potatoes"......

Preparation Time : 15 Min

Cooking Time : 10 Min

Ingredients :

  • 1 Cup grated cauliflower
  • 1 Cup grated cabbage
  • 1/2 Cup finely chopped beans
  • 1/2 Cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs (I used brown bread)
  • 3 Tablespoon all purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 Tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 Tablespoon soya sauce
  • Salt according to taste
  • Crushed black pepper according to taste
  • Oil for frying
Procedure :
  • Prepare bread crumbs (take 3-4 bread slices and blend it in a mixer) and keep aside
  • Finish all cutting and grating of vegetables and keep aside. Try to squeeze out all extra water from vegetables
  • Now take a bowl add all the ingredients except oil. Mix well and form a dough kind of mixture

  • From this mixture make small balls of vegetables

  • Heat oil for frying. Fry vegetable balls on medium heat till they are crispy and brown in colour. Once done, drain out oil on paper napkin so that extra oil gets removed

  • Crispy Veggie Rolls are ready serve with tea and dip ....

Tip : Make sure that from vegetables excess water is removed
You can also add some greens of spring onions
