For Cutlet Mixture
- 2 Cup boiled corn kernels
- 2 Boiled potatoes
- 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs
- 1 Tablespoon cornflour
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2" Ginger
- 2 Green chilly
- 1 Lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon chopped coriander
- 1 Teaspoon chat masala powder
- Red chilly powder
- Salt according to taste
- 1 Tablespoon oil
For Coating and cooking Cutlet :
- 3 to 4 Tablespoon breadcrumbs
- 2 Tablespoon oil for cooking
Procedure :
- First of all boil the corn form a coarsely grind paste of corn
- Now in a pan add oil heat it now add chopped ginger and green chillies saute it add chopped onion to this saute this for a 2 to 3 minute now add boiled and gridded corn to this saute this for 2 to 3 minute now add boiled and mashed potatoes, salt, red chilly powder, chat masala, lemon juice and chopped coriander mix all ingredients nicely once the mixture is done close the gas and transfer the mixture in a bowl
- Now once the mixture came to room temperature divide it into a small portions and give a desired shape with a help of mould as I used heart shape.
- Now in a flat surface spread the bread crumbs and roll your cutlet in bread crumbs .
- Now in a pan heat the oil and shallow fry cutlets from both the side. once it is done transfer your cutlet in a plate and serve with salad and chutney with a cup of tea or coffee....
Tip : If you want to have it without onion you can remove the onion form the above mixture.
and you feel that bread crumbs are not sticking nicely to the cutlet you can prepare a mixture with 1 teaspoon corn flour and 1/2 bowl water first dip your cutlet in this mixture and then roll it in bread crumbs. breadcrumbs nicely get coated on cutlets
