Chilly Garlic Potato Bites

Chilly Garlic Potato Bites

My daughter enjoys Mc-Cain chilly garlic bites. As frozen food has preservatives in it and is not that good, so I prepared chilly garlic potato bites at home.

Preparation Time : 20 Min

Cooking Time : 10 Min

Ingredients :

  • 4 Boiled potatoes (peeled and grated)
  • 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs
  • 1 Teaspoon chilly flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon fried garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Ching's schezwan chutney
  • 2 Tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 Green chilly chopped
  • Salt according to taste
  • Oil for frying
Procedure :
  • First boil potatoes and peel and grate them
  • Now take a bowl add grated potato, bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon corn flour, salt, garlic, chilly fakes, green chilly and schezwan chutney; mix all ingredients nicely

  • Form a dough as shown in picture, apply little bit oil so that it is not sticky

  • Now in a flat platform roll the dough as shown in picture

  • Cut it into small bites

  • In a plate take rest of corn flour and dust it onto the bites

  • Take a pan with oil and fry these bites till they are brown and crispy. Take out and place them on a tissue paper so that extra oil gets removed

  • Serve it hot with sauce or chutney

Tips :
  • You can change the quantity of chilly flakes and garlic according to your taste
  • Fried garlic is easily available in market in case you are unable to find it just chop fresh garlic and fry it in oil for a minute and use it
  • Even you can prepare this and keep it in freezer for day or 2 and fry it later
Want to share that my this recipe wins the contest conducted by Plattershare and judged by Chef Nita Mehta
