Crispy Banana and Peanut balls

Now delight your guests with crunchy snacks having goodness of peanuts, Paneer and banana. It will be a welcome change over usual cutlets and pakodas...



Preparation Time : 30 Min

Cooking Time : 10 Min

Ingredients :
  • 2 Raw banana boiled and peeled
  • 1 Boiled potato
  • 100 gm Paneer grated (cottage cheese)
  • 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs 
  • 1 Tablespoon of roasted and crushed peanuts
  • 2 Chopped green chillies
  • 2 Tablespoon chopped coriander 
  • 1 Teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt according to taste
  • Chilly powder according to taste
For Coating :
  • 2 Tablespoon roasted and crushed Peanuts
  • 1 Tablespoon bread crumbs
Oil for frying

Procedure :
  • Boil potato and banana, keep them aside. Finish cutting and chopping of green chillies and coriander
  • Roast peanuts and blend them in a mixer 
  • Now take a bowl, add boiled potato and banana, mash them together

  • Now add grated paneer to this, roasted peanuts, bread crumbs, green chilly, chopped coriander, salt and chilly powder, mix all ingredients together and form a dough as shown in picture




  • Now form a balls from this dough
  • In a plate take crushed peanuts and breadcrumbs and mix them well. Now roll balls over this mixture and keep aside




  • Now In a pan take oil for frying and once the oil is hot, fry these balls on medium flame and fry till they turn light golden brown in color 

  • Take out the balls on paper napkin to remove excess oil

  • Serve hot with tea or coffee ...
